Region 8 ministry asking for donations

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

A group of Region 8 men need the community's help to continue their work.

Members with Shepherd's Fold Ministry were at Walmart in Paragould Friday.

They asked the public to open their hearts and donate what items they can to the ministry.

Shepherd's Fold is a Christian based ministry working to help men overcome their addictions.

Brad Doyle of Jonesboro said the ministry changed his life.

“I'm so much of a better person than I was 90 days ago.” Doyle said. “I'm so much happier. Just, just extremely happy. Just total flip flop.”

Doyle said there are 20 men living in the house right now.

They are asking for any household items. They will be at Walmart in Paragould again Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thanksgiving is a time to be with loved ones and enjoy good food, but since that is not an option for everyone, members of the Jonesboro community came together to make sure as many people as possible were fed.
