Jonesboro school prepares girls for life after high school

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro school is working to prepare its girls for whatever life throws at them.

On Thursday, Nettleton High School held a number of sessions on a variety of different topics, ranging from finances, community involvement and sexual assault.

The point of the day was to prepare the young adults for any and all issues they'll face after high school.

I've been in a class where they were talking about stress and how to handle stress and how to manage and keep yourself calm," Aesha Morris said.

We've learned about how to manage your finances and what the proper ways to do that are,”
