Police work forgery case, don't go far to make arrest

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Police Department is investigating a forgery incident involving a man who was already in jail on other forgery charges.

According to an incident report, Michael Brock, 23, is accused of stealing someone's mail last month and cashing two checks on the victim's account.

One of the checks was worth $2,236 and the other check was worth $1,747.70.

Brock was already facing four counts of forgery from related incidents.

Police said he could see two other forgery charges for this case.
