One driver cited in rollover crash

One man was cited as after his vehicle rolled over in a crash involving 3 vehicles.

The crash happened around 9:15 Thursday morning on Johnson Ave. and Main St.

According to a crash report from Jonesboro police, Ricky Prine of Gassville was headed west on Johnson and was in the turn lane to make a left turn. The traffic signal was a flashing yellow arrow when Prine turned the van he was driving into path of an SUV.

The SUV hit the passenger side of the van causing it to rollover in the intersection. It then slid in front of a third vehicle.

Police say Prine was trapped for a short time and had to be cut out of the vehicle.

Statements were taken from all 3 drivers at the scene. All of them refused medical treatment.

Prine was cited for failure to yield and was given a court date.
