LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - Nearly 20 flights have been canceled at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport after Winter Storm 2015 dumped several inches of snow in central Arkansas.
According to Shane Carter, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations at the airport, 19 flights have been called off for Thursday; however, the airport is still "open and operational".
Carter said the main runway and taxiways have been cleared of snow after crews used plows and brooms overnight to clear the surface.
According to Carter, Southwest Airlines will continue flights after 11:00 Thursday morning. United Airlines will continue flights after 10:30 a.m. and Delta Airlines will resume flights at 8:30 a.m.
Carter noted that not all flights have been canceled.
