Luxora police searching for suspects in kidnapping

LUXORA, AR (KAIT) -

Luxora police, assisted by Arkansas State Police and the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office, are investigating the suspected kidnapping of a disabled man.

According to the police report, Luxora Police Chief Albert Wright responded to a home at 508 East Calhoun Street early Monday morning. The report stated that when Wright arrived on the scene, no one was present.

Wright reported that the phone was off the wall and the victim's wheelchair was near an open door. Wright reported that the home had been ransacked.

The victim was eventually found in Little Rock and was taken to the V.A. Hospital. The victim's truck was also found in Little Rock.

Police are currently developing suspects in the case.
