Jonesboro hospital adds rooms to Women's Center

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A ribbon cutting ceremony took place inside NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro Tuesday.

They were celebrating the completion of 11 additional rooms in the Women's Center.

CEO Brad Parsons said they're working to meet the needs they see in the community.

“As our women's services continues to grow. We've added 2 new providers there within the last year,” Parsons said. “. And we want to continue to grow to meet the needs of our community.”

Dr. Jason Coletta said they're thrilled to see this project complete.

“This is something we've been waiting for, for quite a while,” Dr. Coletta said. “There's two new physicians here and NEA is growing and so this is something we've really needed.”

The Women's Center is just one of several projects the hospital has been working on. Construction for an acute rehab center is also about to begin.
