Company helps City Youth Ministries through raffle

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A local real estate company rewarded their workers and helped a non-profit organization on Tuesday night.

Burch and Company held a $10,000 drawing to reward its agents for their hard work.

The owners also decided to auction off the extra tickets and give the proceeds to City Youth Ministries.

“Anytime we can better a charity like that or an organization like that, then it's a win, win,” Eric Burch said. “It's fun to receive a check, don't get me wrong but you would be amazed at the feelings and the emotions and everything that truly do come over you when you know you are giving back and you are giving back to a great cause.”

Those with a ticket had a 1 in 40 chance of winning.

The drawing took place at 6 p.m.

Jack Turner won that $10,000 grand prize. He donated $700 of his winnings back to City Youth.

City Youth Ministries raised a total of $2,000.
