HARDY, AR (KAIT) -

A crash between 2 tractors with trailers attached caused traffic to back up and sent 1 person to the hospital.

According to information from Arkansas State Police the crash happened on U.S. 63 south of Hardy Wednesday around 1 p.m.

One large tractor with a trailer attached was following another when the first stopped. According to the investigating state trooper, the tractor in the back rear ended the front.

The driver of the front tractor was ejected and was airlifted to a Little Rock hospital with non-threatening-life injuries.

Traffic was backed up on the highway for about an hour and a half before crews could clear the road.
