CRC loses early lead, falls in semis to DBU

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - The Crowley's Ridge College Men's Basketball Team lost an early lead and was eliminated from the NCCAA Central Regional Tournament by Dallas Baptist on Thursday night.

After coming out and taking a 15 point lead on an 11-0 run, the Pioneers fell victim to a DBU run and entered the half tied at 31. The Patriots would win the second half, outscoring the Pioneers by 12 points and going on to win the game by the final score of 80-68.

CRC's Skylor Guess led the scoring for the game with 21 points. His teammate Quinn Cooper had 18 and Roy Marshall finished in double-digits as well with 12.

The Pioneers were heart by Dallas Baptist's Jonathan Perry, who had 15 points for the game. The Patriots finished with a 45.7 percent shooting percentage from the field.

DBU advances to the finals of the Central Regional Tournament, which will be held tomorrow night at 7:00 pm at CRC. The Pioneers finish their season with a 24-5 overall record.
