JONESBORO, AR - There was a scare last night at Jonesboro's Municipal Airport.

A plane piloted by Jonesboro psychologist Daniel Gillcrest of Jonesboro experienced trouble with its landing gear as it approached the Jonesboro airport.  Gillcrest says he circled the airport until authorities arrived for help.  "In the meantime, I used a manual gear extension lever and pumped the gear down.  I got a green light on my indicator light.  And the fire department was able to see that the gear was down," said Gillcrest.  "So, at that point, we came back around and landed the airplane safely."
