RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - The Randolph County Conservation District hosted their 2015 Ag Farm and Safety Day on Friday.
Students from nearby schools and people from the county filled the fairgrounds for a chance to learn about safety measures while working on a farm.
"Grain bins are getting to be where they are just so big and when the grain crusts over and you get in there, it just collapses around you," said Danny Ellis with the Randolph County Conservation Board. "It's just a bad situation."
To help show just how dangerous grain bins can be, the conservation board had a live demonstration showing how easily someone can get stuck in a bin.
In July of 2014 a Greene County man was stuck in a grain bin for hours before crews could get him out.
