JACKSON COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - An Arkansas prosecutor is working to extradite a Delaware man charged with murder from a case in 1967.
Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce said in a statement Monday James Leon Clay, 65, of Georgetown, Delaware was charged with first degree murder in the death of James Ricks.
Clay is currently being held in Delaware. He has refused to waive extradition to Arkansas.
Boyce said he is working with governor's office in Delaware to bring Clay to Arkansas.
A hearing date of April 10 has been set.
Clay was arrested on March 10 as part of the investigation into the kidnapping and murder of Ricks.
