DARE to ride classic rescheduled, renamed

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The DARE to Ride Biker Classic is back on with a new name.

It is now called the Riders on the Ridge Rally and it will take place from June 4 to June 6.

The event was canceled earlier in year due to budget constraints, but a committee member for the Riders on the Ridge Rally said the Jonesboro A&P Commission reallocated money so the event could go on.

The event will still benefit the DARE Program and will now also help the Out of the Dark program.

The rally's sponsors donated $10,000 so far, but more sponsors are needed.

To become a sponsor, contact the city of Jonesboro.
