Silver Alert deactivated for Van Buren County man

SHIRLEY, AR (KAIT) -

A Silver Alert was deactivated for a man who was last seen near his home in Shirley, Arkansas.

On Thursday afternoon, the sheriff's office in Van Buren County activated the alert for for Russell J. Pogue, 89.

The alert was deactivated about 2 hours later.

According to police, Pogue had been missing since Thursday morning.
