JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating several thefts across the city from over the weekend.
The first theft happened on Friday at the 1600-block of North Easy Street.
Police said the victim told them the suspect entered her home and stole her flat-screen televisions.
The victim said she was last home at around 5 p.m. and when she returned at around 10 p.m. she noticed her televisions were missing and her back door was open.
Officers noticed muddy footprints in the yard and attempted to lift fingerprints from a vase and the window.
A second case happened on the 2200-block of Sybel Cove on Friday night.
When police arrived, the victim told them a white man wearing a camouflage shirt and black jeans knocked on her door and asked to use her phone, according to the report.
She said she let him in and walked to her bedroom to get her phone.
When she came back into the room the man and her wallet with $300 cash and 2 credit cards inside were gone.
Police searched the area for the suspect but could not find him.
The third theft was just reported on Saturday, but actually happened in January.
Police said a man called to report the theft of his 30.06 Ruger Mark 2.
The victim suspected his former girlfriend stole his gun from his old address on the 300-block of North Bridge Street.
The victim heard the gun was pawned at Turtle Creek Pawn.
Officers got the serial number and entered the gun into the Arkansas Crime Information Center as stolen.
