A joint effort between two Region 8 law enforcement agencies leads to a drug take down.

The Jonesboro Police Department and the Craighead County Sheriff's Office shut down a suspected meth lab in Jonesboro.

After a week-long investigation, both agencies searched a home on Craighills Place, just off Harrisburg Rd.

“Upon search of the residence, officers found several items used to manufacture crystal meth, as well as some crystal meth oil. Which is basically a pre-product of crystal meth,” Investigator Justin Rolland told Region 8 News.

Two people were arrested.

36-year-old Justin Paul Cope, of Jonesboro, and 31-year-old Micah Lee Stinson are now in the Craighead County Jail.

Both Cope and Stinson are charged with manufacturing crystal meth.
