JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Veterans, agriculture, the economy and the Second Amendment are among the topics U.S. Senator John Boozman will discuss when he visits Region 8 on Wednesday.
Boozman will begin his day with a tour of the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas. During his visit the Arkansas Republican will discuss the Farm Bill and federal funding and programs with Christie Jordan, executive director of the food bank.
Following his visit to the food bank, the senator will tour Hytrol Conveyor Company then make a trip to Black Iron Shooting Range where he is expected to discuss Second Amendment issues with the owners.
Boozman will wrap up his day at Arkansas State University's Beck Pride Center to discuss veteran issues, including legislation to improve VA mental health services and the Choice Act.
