Stolen radioactive gauge found in Pulaski Co.

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - A gauge containing radioactive material that was reported stolen by the Arkansas Department of Health has been found undamaged.

The ADH said in a statement the Troxler Electronic Laboratories Gauge reported stolen in March was found Tuesday near Marche, located in Pulaski County.

According to the agency the gauge did not pose a health risk to anyone while it was gone. It also did not appear to be damaged.

The gauge was transported to the licensee's permanent storage location.

There was no mention in the ADH statement about who may have been responsible for taking the gauge.
