NEW ORLEANS, LA (ASU) – The Sun Belt Conference announced its 2015-16 men's and women's basketball schedule on Monday. The league will utilize a 20-game conference schedule for each men's and women's basketball program for the second consecutive season.

Men's and women's basketball games will be played as doubleheaders for the second consecutive year to accommodate the 20-game schedule. A majority of the men's and women's basketball coaches, with approval by a majority of the 11 athletic directors in the Sun Belt Conference, voted to maintain the 20-game schedule for the upcoming season.

Arkansas State will open conference play in Alabama for the second-straight season with a Wednesday, Dec. 30, contest at Troy. The New Year will begin with a Saturday, Jan. 2 encounter at South Alabama.
