LITTLE ROCK, AR - State attorney general Mike Beebe launched a campaign today to boost SUV safety in Arkansas. The campaign is part of a larger national project aimed at young SUV drivers.
Beebe said that nearly half of all SUV deaths result from single-vehicle rollover accidents, which he said could be prevented if SUVs are driven correctly. Beebe said the key elements to driving an SUV safely include wearing seat belts, paying attention to an SUVs higher center of gravity and correctly distributing weight in an SUV and having the right tires.
The campaign will include cinema, billboard, print, online and broadcast environments. There is also safety information available on the campaign's Website, www.esuvee.com.
