JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro fire crews are investigating a house fire that happened early Friday morning.

Those crews were called to a home on the 1300-block of W. Monroe Street in west Jonesboro around 6:30 a.m.

A woman was inside the home at the time, but she was able to get out safely.

She told Region 8 News at the scene that she walked out of her shower and found the back bedroom fully engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say most of the damage was done on the inside of the home and that the blaze did start in the back of the house. The fire appears to be accidental, according a Jonesboro fire official.

Investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
