JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Attorney General Leslie Rutledge spoke to people in Region 8 at Friday's NEA Political Animals luncheon.
Rutledge said she thought it was a wonderful opportunity to let people know what all her office is working on.
She specifically spoke to people about what the AG's office does and what her first 100 days in office has been like.
"We're going to talk about some important cases that we have already been part of including ones about immigration, federal over reach including the EPA, waters of the United States," Rutledge said. "Things that effect businesses, farmers and families right here in Northeast Arkansas."
Rutledge said her main message is that the AG's office is there to protect Arkansans from those who want to harm them.
