Strong storms downed poles and lines, minor damage reported

MONETTE, AR (KAIT) -

Strong storms moved through Region 8 Sunday night.

No major damage was reported, but there were several power outages across the area.

In Monette, power poles were blown down and power lines were on the ground. 

Power crews were dispatched to North Reeves Street.

There were also trees down on Highway 135 at County Road 125 in Clay County, according to the National Weather Service.

An awning was blown off in Lafe and there was a tree down on Greene County Road 505.

There are also trees broken and uprooted in Fisher. There were 70 mph winds reported there.

Some outages continued into Monday morning as reported by Entergy Arkansas, Inc.
