K8 News, "Earl-FM" Reach Simulcast Agreement

JONESBORO, AR - Management from KAIT and KCJF - "Earl-FM" (103.9 FM) this morning announced an agreement in which the radio station will simulcast K8 News at Six each weekday evening, beginning tonight.  Negotiations for the agreement were finalized Monday.

Earl-FM is a new station in the Jonesboro and northeast Arkansas radio market.  The 35,000-watt classic rock station went on the air late last summer, and is the pilot station for the ASU Indian Sports Network.  The station is owned by Wynne-based East Arkansas Broadcasters.

KAIT is owned and operated by the Greenville, South Carolina-based Liberty Broadcasting Corporation.
