City Sets Selection Committee for New Jonesboro Fire Chief

JONESBORO, AR - The Jonesboro City Council's Public Safety Committee has approved the formation of a committee that has been selected to begin the process of hiring a new Fire Chief for the city of Jonesboro.

The ad hoc committee will be known as the Fire Chief Selection Committee, consisting of the following individuals...

-Alderman Tim McCall

-Alderman Harold Perrin

-Dr. Charles Coleman

-Fireman Tim Rook

-Fireman Alan Dunn

-Fireman Rick Humphrey

-Fireman Marty Hamrick

-Fireman Jason Wills.

Butch Herring resigned his position as Jonesboro's Fire Chief on January 13, at the request of Mayor Doug Formon.
