JONESBORO, AR (ASU) – The start time of the A-State baseball squad's series finale against Appalachian State Sunday, April 26 has been moved to 11 a.m.
The game was originally scheduled to begin at noon, but will now feature a first pitch at 11 a.m. The first game of the series is set for 6 p.m. Friday night, while Saturday's game will have a 6:02 p.m. first pitch and be broadcast on ESPN3.
Sunday's game will be feature $1 hot dogs and kids can run the bases after the conclusion of the game. All three games are part of Heroes Appreciation Weekend for military and first responders and they can get $4 tickets if they are in uniform or have proper ID.
A-State will enter the weekend with a 16-22 overall record and 5-15 tally in conference play. The Red Wolves defeated Murray State Tuesday night at Tomlinson Stadium by a score of 11-5.
Appalachian State currently sports a record of 11-29 with a 4-16 mark in SBC play. The Mountaineers lost to Western Carolina 18-15 on Tuesday and will play the Catamounts again on Wednesday.
