WYNNE, AR (KAIT) - Mike Anderson spoke in Wynne at the East-Central Arkansas Razorback Club Banquet on Thursday night.
Anderson spoke with fans, took pictures, and signed autographs for Razorbacks Supporters who attended the meet and greet with the leader of the Arkansas Men's Basketball Program.
He also spoke to the crowd and expressed how proud he was of Bobby Portis and Michael Qualls for what they have achieved at Arkansas. Anderson also expressed his thoughts on bringing a championship back to the storied program.
He says he still expects a big season for his team despite the departure of this dynamic duo for the NBA Draft.
Anderson will look for Anton Beard, Anthlon Bell, and incoming freshman guard Jimmy Whitt as some of the guys that could step up.
The Razorbacks made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament this season before falling to North Carolina. Arkansas spent much of the the season in the AP Top 25.
