A-State Baseball game postponed to Saturday Doubleheader

JONESBORO, AR (ASU) – The Arkansas State baseball team's game Friday night against Appalachian State has been postponed due to inclement weather and will now be played as part of a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

Friday's game, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. versus the Mountaineers, will be the first game at 1 p.m., while the second game of the doubleheader is still scheduled for a 6:02 p.m. start time and will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Friday's game becomes the 22nd game the Red Wolves have had altered in some form or fashion due to weather this season.  The doubleheader Saturday will mark the eighth doubleheader the team has had to play in this year.

A-State enters the weekend with a record of 16-22 and 5-15 mark in Sun Belt Conference play.  Appalachian State has a 12-29 record and 4-16 tally in conference action.
