Allen threw for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first half of the game, alone. Allen played on the "Red Team" which was majority the first string offense and defense while the "White Team" was the second string group overall.
The Red Team, as expected, won the Red vs. White game by the final score of 62-18 with Brandon Allen being the big leader for team Red, along with a strong showing from the Razorbacks primary defensive crew.
Bielema also expressed his satisfaction with the play of his tight ends when he met with the media immediately following the spring game.
A grand total of 41,220 people attended the game including many from Region 8, to get a first glimpse of the 2015 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team.
In just the second season under Bielema, the Razorbacks improved to 7-6 overall last season with a win in the Texas Bowl against the Texas Longhorns. The Hogs seem to have turned a corner after two rough seasons that included only 7 wins combined over those two years.
Arkansas opens the 2015 Season on September 5th against Texas-El Paso.
Region 8 Sports Anchor Kamen Entchev is in Fayetteville to cover the festivities and will have reports on Region 8 Sports at Six and Ten on Saturday night.
