MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) -

A man from Mississippi County was arrested in Baxter County on drug charges.

Sheriff John Montgomery states 22-year-old Jeremy Wayne Graham of Osceola was arrested Saturday on felony drug charges after being stopped for a traffic violation.

The stop happened on Arkansas Highway 201 north in Mountain Home around 7:20 p.m.

Montgomery said during the stop an officer smelled the odor of burned marijuana and started a search of the vehicle.

During the search the officer found about 2.5 grams of a substance that "field tested positive for methamphetamine." A set of scales and 2 smoking pipes were also discovered, according to the sheriff.

Graham's charges include felony possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $7,500.

He is expected to appear in court on May 7.
