Wanted Nebraska man arrested in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man wanted by Nebraska law enforcement officers on drug and sexual assault charges was arrested Tuesday in Jonesboro.

Officers with the Jonesboro Prowl Unit arrested Abdibafid Mohamed Farah, 34, at the Butterball factory, 9401 E. Highland, on a felony warrant out of Hall County, NE.

Sgt. Quinn Webb of the Hall County Sheriff's Department told Region 8 News Farah was wanted for first degree sexual assault and delivery/intent to deliver extremely hazardous drugs. Both are felonies.

Farah is currently being held without bond in the Craighead County Detention Center awaiting extradition to Nebraska.
