SEARCY, AR (HARDING) – Harding wide receiver Donatella Luckettwent undrafted in this weekend's NFL Draft but will sign a free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In his senior season at Harding, Luckett made 23 receptions for 605 yards and five touchdowns. He earned All-Super Region 3 and honorable mention All-America honors and became just the second Harding player to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine.
He is the first Harding player to sign a free-agent contract with the Chiefs since linebacker Greg Poston went to camp with the team in 1984.
Luckett is due in Kansas City on May 10 and begins his first rookie mini camp on May 15.
