BLACK ROCK, AR (KAIT) - A new bridge two years in the making will open Friday in Black Rock.
An official with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department tells Region 8 News the bridge will open at 9:30 a.m.
Lines were put down on Thursday in preparation for completing the project.
Monday was scheduled to be the original opening date.
While the new bridge will be open, construction won't end over the river. Work will begin on the tearing down of the old bridge.
