SEARCY, AR (KAIT) -

Residents in one Region 8 town saw some significant flooding Saturday night.

According to the White County Dispatch Center's Facebook page, there was some flooding at the parking lot at Walmart in Searcy.

One of the cars in that parking lot was reportedly floating.

There was a Flash Flood Warning for that county until 9:30 p.m., due to heavy rainfall.

Meteorologist Andrew Wilson said some of the areas on the east side of town had already seen nearly 2 inches of rain by around 9 p.m.

Police did close some streets to traffic at one point during the night, after an semi truck got stuck between Sunnydale Street and Poplar Street due to high waters.
