Police investigate second Jonesboro shooting this weekend

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting at Fox Meadow where two people were injured.

According to an incident report, 22-year-old Earl Clark and 21-year-old Ricky Wilson were both shot in the leg.

Officers responded to the 44-hundred block of Fox Meadow around 2:30 a.m. in reference to shots fired.

According to police, two cars pulled up in front of the home and eight to ten black males exited the vehicles, asking for someone named Tyler.

Officers said after people at the home said they did not know who that was, the men pulled bandanas over their faces and one of them said, "If you don't want to tell us where Tyler is, we'll just blast all of y'all."

That suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired six to seven shots at Clark, Wilson and a witness.

The suspects fled the scene in the vehicles as the victims and witness retreated inside the residence.

Police arrived and treated Clark and Wilson's wounds until EMS crews arrived and took them to St. Bernards Medical Center.

The homeowners were not there at the time of the shooting.

Witnesses told police the suspects could have gotten out of a black or dark colored four-door Nissan Altima and a red four-door Pontiac.

There are no suspects at this time, but police did arrest 24-year-old Roderick Wilson and 19-year-old Darenzy Coleman on unrelated charges in reference to valid warrants and obstruction of governmental operations.
