3 arrested on felony drug charges in Clay Co.

CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - -

The Clay County Sheriff's Department arrested three people on Sunday on felony drug charges.

Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller said deputies and officers with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections did a probation search on a home in Rector.

During that search, they found a large amount of meth, drug paraphernalia, small amount of marijuana and pills.

That's when they arrested Melissa Smock, 33, and Terry O'Neil.

In an unrelated case, the sheriff's department and Corning Police arrested Eddie Webb, 40, of Corning for outstanding felony warrants.

Webb was found outside a home on Bryan Street in Corning.

Webb is facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and possession of felony drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Miller said there will be new charges pending on him in regards to felony failure to appear and a parole violation warrant.
