ASP investigating hit-and-run case involving motorcycle

BLACK OAK, AR (KAIT) -

Arkansas State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that sent a motorcycle driver to the hospital.

The crash happened in Black Oak Wednesday morning. ASP states a motorcycle was traveling south on Highway 135 when a passenger vehicle traveling north crossed the center line.

The vehicle then hit the motorcycle, causing the driver to go into a ditch, according to police.

He was taken to a Jonesboro hospital with unknown injuries. The name of the driver was not released.

The unknown driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
