2 sent to hospital after 2-vehicle crash on Hwy 63

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Two people were sent to local hospitals after a crash on Highway 63 just north of Dan Ave. Wednesday morning.

According to an Arkansas State Police trooper, the two-vehicle crash happened as vehicles were trying to slow down for a school bus that was stopped. A car then rear ended an SUV.

The airbags in the car did deploy.

Two people were taken to Jonesboro hospitals with unknown injuries. No names were released.
