Paragould Chamber of Commerce to host clean sweep week

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Clean Sweep Paragould Week, an effort to beautify businesses in the town, is kicking off June 1.

Each day that week Paragould Chamber members are challenging store owners with a different task.

“Clean Sweep Paragould is a week we've set aside for awareness for our citizens to think about, to look at their properties,” Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Sue McGowan said. “To evaluate some needs that there might be on their property and try to meet those needs.”

The week will end on Saturday, June 6 with a community work day.

Volunteers will be tackling a variety of projects around Paragould that need some extra attention.

The clean up day will start at 9 a.m. and last until 11 a.m.

Supplies and lunch are provided.

You must register to volunteer before May 29.

If you would like to participate, contact the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce.
