JPD: Man pulls gun on woman in North Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro woman's walk to the bus stop was interrupted after she claimed a man pulled a gun on her.

According to a Jonesboro police report, the woman was walking to the bus stop on Wednesday afternoon when a car pulled up to the intersection of Belt Street and Scott Street in the North Jonesboro area.

The woman told officers a man in the white Chrysler 300 put his arm out of the driver side window and showed a black handgun.

She said the man didn't say anything and drove off. She continued her walk to the bus stop and later contacted police.

According to the report, the woman described the man as a light-skinned black male with curly hair, wearing a black Sonic shirt.

The woman told officers she was concerned about the incident because of the recent shootings in Jonesboro.
