Jonesboro dealership hosts truck drawing for servicemen and veterans

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 car dealership is recognizing those who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms.

Central Buick GMC in Jonesboro is holding a special event over the next two months.

Those currently serving in the armed forces and veterans are invited to drop by the dealership on East Parker Road to enter in a drawing for a free GMC Sierra truck.

General Manager Zach Gartman said it's all about honoring those who've served and are currently serving.

“It's just our way of saying thank you for their service for the great things that they do for us,” Gartman said.

Assistant Service Manager Jay Yarbrough agrees. He said it's all about paying respect to those who serve.

"We're very proud of our men and women in service and we just want to make sure we can show our appreciation in the most logical way possible through us," Yarbrough said.

The drawing is set for July 4.
