WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

A Walnut Ridge man will spend several years in prison in connection to the death of his infant daughter.

According to online court records, Dustin Michael Gibson, 28, entered a negotiated guilty plea earlier this month to endangering the welfare of a minor and manslaughter.

Gibson was sentenced to 96 months in prison along with 180 months of suspended imposition of sentence, a type of probation.

Police arrested Gibson in November 2014 after his infant daughter was found unresponsive.
