JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police have released photos of two men suspected of robbing the Kum & Go, located at 2214 East Johnson, shortly before 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the initial incident report, one man held a gun to the clerk's back and forced her to open the cash register.
After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects ran out of the store.
Three men standing outside the store told officers they saw the men inside robbing the store.
"They said that one subject was wearing a red bandana and one was wearing a blue bandana," the report stated.
On Thursday, the Jonesboro Police Department released two photos of the suspects taken from the store's surveillance camera.
Anyone having any information on the suspects or the robbery is urged to call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.
When the suspects came running out of the store one pointed a gun at a witness and dragged him to the east side of the building.
The men told police the suspects did not take anything from them.
According to the report, the suspects then ran north toward Winn Street.
An officer with the Arkansas State University Police Department reported finding a red bandana on Winn Street and a footprint in some mud near Caraway Road.
Both suspects were described as African-American. One was 6' and the other 5'6" with three scratches under his left eye.
According to Paul Holmes, public information specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department, officers have investigated six aggravated robberies since May 21:
