JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A building in Jonesboro slated to be condemned, won't be just yet.

The condemnation of the Home Ice building on Cate St. had been postponed until Tuesday night as the property owner, Samuel Rosse III is in an Atlanta, GA prison.

Karen Siegle a representative handling the Rosse family trust spoke before the Jonesboro City Council about work being done to save the building.

Siegle said plans have not been drawn up yet on how to fix the building.

"We've cleaned up all around the property, all of the stuff is gone. All the outside stuff is gone. I just need more time," Siegle told council members Tuesday.

Siegle now has 30 days to get an architect and engineer before the council to talk about the feasibility of saving the building.
