SeMo Authorities Questioning Prisoner in Murder Investigation

POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Following a lengthy manhunt in Washington County, Missouri, a 29-year-old Poplar Bluff man is being held for questioning in what is only being described as the investigation of an active murder case in Butler County.

Charles Langley was arrested Tuesday evening, who had previously fled from Washington County authorities.  Langley is being held at the Butler County jail in Poplar Bluff on charges of resisting arrest and stealing, and faces additional charges pertaining to hot check and probation violations.
