Paragould issues hundreds of building permits in 2015
Dirt work is now going on at the corner of Highways 49 and 358 in Paragould.
The land was rezoned for commercial use in March.
Soon, a multi-million dollar Walmart Neighborhood Market will be located there.

The inspections department with the City of Paragould said the building permit for the store was purchased on July 21.
They told Region 8 News that plans for the store include a pharmacy and gas station.
The project is estimated to cost $5.4 million.
They aren't the only ones to get a permit this year in Paragould.
So far in 2015, the inspections department has issued over 200 building permits for everything from commercial and residential use to industrial and home additions.
Some of the major commercial projects underway include that new Neighborhood Market, an ALDI's, Arby's and Kimono Japanese Steakhouse.
In total, the city has sold nearly $66,000 in building permits.

The estimated value of all the new buildings and additions that will be popping up around town soon is over $22 million.
