Ultimate Oldies Show returns to Paragould

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

The Ultimate Oldies show returns to the historic Collins Theatre in Paragould on July 25 at 7 p.m.

“People who come to it can’t believe the talent and the quality of the show,” Joe Wessel, organizer of the event, said. “A lot of people tell us that it’s better than what they see in Branson.”

The Ultimate Oldies show is known for local singing talent and performers.

The evening features a fast-paced, energy-filled journey back to the golden age of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

“I think it’s the music and kids love that music even today,” Wessel said. “We’ve got them coming from all over the state to this show.”

A few of the names in the line-up to perform include Richie Williams, Lori Dial, Ryan Fisher, Shannon Freeman, Chandler Gill, Craig and Donna Rhodes.

“Remember the old days from TNN? The TNN Network?” asked Craig Morris. “There was a show called Nashville Now. Three of the harmony singers from that show will be in this show.”

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the box office until they run out.
