Lowe's helps Blytheville Humane Society

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Lowe's Home Improvement is helping the Blytheville Humane Society make some much needed renovations.

Lowe's awarded $2,5,00 to the humane society through the Lowe's Hero Program.

The money is going towards fences and shade shelters for the animals.

Volunteers from Lowe's and the humane society spent all day Saturday working on the project.

The project is expected to be complete in about 2 weeks.

The humane society said this project is really going to help the shelter animals and workers.

With the new fences, the dogs will be able to go out all together instead of in groups like they do now.

Pam Ford from the Humane Society said letting the dogs out all at once will help much needed renovations to start on the inside.

The humane society said they are very grateful for everyone who has helped make this project possible.
