MONDAY: Mostly sunny and hot. Lows in the mid 60s, highs in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY: Variable cloudiness with a slight chance of showers. Better chance of any rain will be closer to the coast as Maria draws a bit closer to the East Coast. Lows in the upper 60s, highs in the low 80s. (Rain Chance: 20%)

WEDNESDAY: Variable cloudiness with a slight chance of showers. More clouds and a better chance of showers in coastal areas as Maria makes its closest approach to Virginia, but still offshore. Lows in the upper 60s, highs in the mid 80s. (Rain Chance: 20%)

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny with continued above average temperatures. Lows in the upper 60s, highs in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and cooler with a slight chance of showers. Lows around 60°, highs in the mid 70s. (Rain Chance: 20%)

**Note: It still appears the core of Hurricane Maria should stay a good distance offshore of Virginia and North Carolina. That said, the track has shifted SLIGHTLY to the west today...this would increase the chance for some rain showers in coastal areas along with some gusty wind potential on Tuesday into Wednesday. In addition, rough surf and dangerous rip currents will be a threat much of next week.**
